it’s come to my attention that all of my friends now use wordpress, so i thought i’d hop on the bandwagon too.

right now there’s going to be upheaval with several questions:

• how slick is this cms anyway? do i like typing in entries in a webpage or would i rather do them in vim?
• do i still want to use my own frontend or should i adapt what wordpress gives me?
• should i use this (or something similar) for the photo albums? It’d be really nice to see photos taken at the time of these entries
• should i leave all the old posts up unabridged/searchable/displayed by month?

update: all old posts are now up. everything, in fact, going back to July 5, 2001. let me know if there are links that don’t work that you wish did.
