new idea. i don’t like to talk much, so each post will incorporate a picture i take at night. i crave night photography.
in 10th grade, my family spent our easter (thanks to the germans) vacation in turkey, where i read my mother’s canon ae1 camera manual from beginning to end. i think even before that time i was interested in taking pictures with slow shutter speeds.
the sky becomes a my favorite color blue during? after? dusk. i like orange/red/yellow buildings as contrast. tripod might be useful, as would a manual camera.
enjoyed a sloppy morning of shovelling the driveway, covered with (4-8 inches of snow on top of freezing rain,)-hype which was in fact 2 inches of heavy, slushy snow. nice to know the meteorologists are doing their part to keep schools closed.
lots of work done at peterfreund associates website. also brought over a whole bunch of functions that i wrote well for p.a. and am using them for the admin page on this site. next on the list, a slicker links page.
problem: you purchase a cd that you turn out not to like
goal: not feel like a schmuck who just wasted 15 dollars
solution: listen to the cd 3 times a week, for 2 weeks
